Mel Sandler
Mel Sandler specializes in increasing the success of individuals and organizations by utilizing his skills as executive and leadership coach, trainer, and consultant. His customized approach is focused on addressing the unique needs each of his clients.
Mel has 30 years of experience serving individuals working in small, mid-level and fortune 500 companies, not for profit organizations and labor unions. In his on-site positions at United Airlines Mel was an insider helping the company and its employees negotiate difficult market conditions and major downsizings. As managing director of an institute, he provided leadership through several challenges. He also has experience as a teacher and agency consultant in an inner-city community. Mel offers successful solutions to difficult problems by using a range of skills in forming effective relationships, expertise in facilitating behavior change, and understanding of organizational dynamics.
Mel has advanced degrees from Columbia University and New York University and took advanced coursework in coaching from MentorCoach. He has an LCSW and maintains a small clinical practice with a specialty in work-related issues.

Counseling and coaching employees in the workplace were conducted for: University of Maryland, Rutgers and Columbia University Graduate Schools of Social Work; Employee Assistance Professionals Association and National Association of Social Workers, Morristown Family Service.
